The total value of the bookings may be charged if changes/cancellations are made within the 45 day period before of the arrival date or on the arrival date. A 25% non refundable deposit is payable for all bookings, as well as a mandatory £500 security deposit.The security deposit will be refunded to the guest within 48 hours of departure, on the condition that the guest leaves the property as it was found.Any damages to the property will be deducted accordingly from the security deposit.Also, should the cleaning of the property exceed the 4 hour allocated time, due to the property being let in a unfit state, then this would also result in forfeit the full refund and would be deducted accordingly from the security deposit.Guest or Client may refer to the same person.

All accommodation,reserved at Tingle Lodge which is part of the Tingle Creek Hotel,by the client shall be subjected to the following terms and conditions. Please read through them thoroughly for they relate to the booking you have made with the Tingle Lodge. Should you wish to discuss any element contained within these terms and conditions, please contact us direct through the Tingle Creek Hotel. All elements are enforceable at and from the time of booking, unless special exemption has been negotiated with senior management and the client. No variation to these conditions shall be effective, unless made in writing and signed on behalf of the Tingle Lodge and the client.

1. Booking & Cancellation
(a) Any deposit/security deposit requested for bookings are non-refundable unless section(d) refers below.

(b) Acceptance of a booking, whether verbally or in writing, shall create a legally binding contract between the Tingle Lodge and the person from whom the booking has been accepted (the client). Where the client gives credit or debit card details to the Tingle Lodge in order to guarantee a booking or in order to make payment of a deposit or in any other circumstances, then it is agreed between the parties that in the event of cancellation or non-payment the Tingle Lodge may debit the clients credit or debit card with the full amount of the cancellation charge, any amount outstanding at the end of their stay,in respect of any damage or loss of property.

(c) The Tingle Lodge will take all reasonable steps to fulfil the reservation to best of its ability in the accordance with details provided, however it reserves the right to provide alternative services of at least equivalent standard at no additional cost to the client.

(d) The Tingle Lodge reserves the right to cancel a booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction to the Lodge by fire or other cause, or any other cause beyond the control of the Lodge which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking. In such an event the Tingle Lodge will refund any deposit made but will have no further liability to the Guest.

(e) Whilst the Tingle Lodge is taking reasonable steps to ensure that information contained within its brochures, tariffs, leaflets, website and other advertisement materials is accurate, it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or amenity without notice if necessary.

Cancellation

(f) Cancellation within 45 days before the booked accommodation date or on the accommodation date will incur the 100% charge of anticipated revenue. The full cost of all days booked will be charged to the card provided, as security. If the room is re-let, then the cancellation charges will be wavered or reduced depending on whether or not the anticipated revenue is achieved. Any change in respect of the booked dates even if the client rebooks a new period at a later date will be classed as a cancellation. Security deposits will be refunded in full.
Where it has been agreed, that payment will be made in advance of a booking, then should that payment not be made within that time scale then the Tingle Lodge will be allowed to treat that failure to pay as a cancellation and can re-let the property.

(g) Unless your Booking has already been cancelled in accordance with Clause(f), your failure to arrive for a Booking by 11pm on the first night of the Scheduled Stay will be treated as a cancellation made on less than 45 days notice and a Late Cancellation Charge may be made by the Tingle Lodge.

(h) If you anticipate that you will fail to arrive for a Booking by the 11pm deadline specified in Clause(g), you must let the Hotel know and agree an alternative arrival time which will replace the 11pm deadline.

(i) If after arrival you fail to stay for the full period at the Tingle Lodge, you would not be entitled to a refund for the days you did not stay.

2. Liability of the Tingle Lodge
(a) The Tingle Lodge does not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to any cash, money, jewellery or other articles of value unless they are deposited at the Reception of the Tingle Creek hotel for safe keeping and a receipt is handed to the Guest by the recipient. The receipt must be presented by the Guest to reclaim their property or in the event of a claim.

(b) The Tingle Lodge does not accept liability or damage to any other property of a Guest, but in certain circumstances may be liable to make good any loss or damage. However this will be limited to £50 for any single article and subject to a total of £100 in the case of any one Guest. No liability is accepted for any consequential loss arising from loss of or damage to property of the Guest. The Tingle Lodge does not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to motor cars or other vehicles of any kind, or any property lost in them; motorbikes, bicycles, horses or other live animals including pets.

(f) The client undertakes to conduct his/her function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules of the Tingle lodge owners/management and all applicable legislation. Should infringements of this nature occur repeatedly the guest/s may be asked to leave the Tingle Lodge.If this should occur the guest/s could lose their full security deposit and incur further charges.

(g) The client/s should all be adults, and shall not exceed the maximum of 4 Adults allocated to the Tingle Lodge, with the definition of an Adult(To not be under the age of 18).Also no pets of any type are allowed in the Tingle Lodge.

3. Lost Key
Should a guest lose the lodge front door keyor not return the door key when they checkout and return it to the outside key box then they will be chargedto cover the cost of replacement, unless the key is returned within 48 hours of the guest departure..
